Do you give or would you give a monetary gift to the couple at a destination wedding? <\/p>\n
I'm curious what is normally done. We got married in Cuba and nobody gave a gift to us that came. <\/p>\n
Actually one aunt gave $80. No family members that didn't come gave a gift either except one grandma $3000 and the other grandma $200. <\/p>\n
I didn't think it was odd that we didn't get gifts as everyone had paid a lot of money to come to Cuba.<\/p>\n
However, now I will be attending my first destination wedding as a guest in October and it feels really weird to not bring a gift. Not sure I can do that. <\/p>\n
