We managed to buy a 2 bedroom $480k apartment outside of Vancouver 2 years ago. Basically we accepted that we cant buy a full house so we just fuckin grabbed onto the lowest rung of the property ladder we could. Our plan being to hold onto this for 5+ years. Sell and move somewhere cheaper if needed so we have space for kids. <\/p>\n<p>I see a lot of people saying \u201cyou need a household income of $300k a year to afford a home in canada!\u201d Im like. What? How? I get its fucking hard for real but i mean im not rich af and i own a semi decent home.
