Was I swindled?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- SC_OFF --><\/p>\n<div class=\"md\">\n<p>Last year I was renting a condo in downtown Toronto for $2300. 3 months before my year lease would end, my landlord sent an email saying they would be selling the condo and would not be renewing the lease and that I would have until the end of the lease to move out. <\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s since been 9 months (I moved out in October) and noticed that my last condo has been listed on the market since December. The rent price has increased by $1000 and is available for both rent and purchase. I am not even listed in the rental history.<\/p>\n<p>This was my first time dealing with these renting issues and had no idea of my rights and if I was lied to or not about my options. <\/p>\n<p>Is there something I should do here? Has it been too long for me to seek repercussions?
