I want to buy a family house in a year or two and settle there for life. I have close to 200K USD saved in stocks too. Recently, I have been seeing many posts regarding inflating housing prices in Toronto and general inflation too. Do you guys think this much income would be enough for buying a house and supporting my sister through college\/university while living comfortably?<\/p>\n<p>EDIT: I will be working from home, so can also live in suburbs. My wife is a software engineer with 7 years of experience and would be able to fetch another 50K of income (hoping so).
