My parents live in a old neighbourhood. All the detached homes are around 1200 to 1900 sq/feet tops.

My buddy is looking for a home right now and the newer neighbourhoods all have detached homes averaging 2500-3000 sq feet.

Since housing is in crisis, wouldn't it make sense to make more smaller homes, which are more affordable for regular people on the same land9
