I rent a rental townhouse to 3 girls for a couple years now. One of them has been flirting with me ever since she broke up with her ex 6 months ago.

This weekend, when I dropped by to collect the rent (I collect cash most months), turns out the roommates weren’t home and she was having wine with some lasagna. She offered me some and we really connected over wine as I am big into wine tours of BC, Cali and France.

One thing led to another and we slept together Fri night. Today I get a text from her that she had a great time and wants to go for drinks.

Is there a rule against dating your tenant? How do I keep my personal finance separate from dating life? Should I give her a break on her rent. I am worried about the optics of this given the obvious power imbalance here.

Edit 2: what I gather from the most upvoted comments is that most of PFC is basically nerdy “computer science” men with little to no relationship experience. They cannot imagine a relationship with complexities like situation I posted. Shows a severe lack of trust in all that is beautiful in life – love, sex, and connection – and there is too much focus on power dynamic
