Ex-boyfriend/TD employee is able to check my accounts and give info to other friends
(Not sure if this is the right sub to post in so take down post if not following rules)
so my ex and I broke up a few months ago but we have a lot of friends in common.
I bought a house in a rural city because it’s all I can afford and rented it out while still living with parents. I haven’t told anyone but my parents and have continued living the same way. It was to my understanding that no one has any idea.
The mortgage payments are going through TD and that’s where i suspect my ex digging through my account and telling other people.
A week ago, me and a few friends including alex are sitting at a barbecue and the conversation pivoted towards real estate market and rents. Alex then asked me how I was able to afford a house. Then me confused to how he knew, I told him I saved up and didn’t have any debts.
Now i am 99% sure that my ex told Alex that I bought a home.
Is this even allowed? Can a TD employee check my account without my consent and then give account transactions to non TD employees?
Edit: I also have suspicion because one time me and my ex were sitting together while he was working from home and he randomly just pulled up some random persons account from his computer. It may have been a client account but pretty sure it was random person
edit 2: This has gotten much more responses than i originally thought. thanks to everyone
I called alex and he confirmed he found out through my ex. Alex doesn’t know how my ex knows i bought a house.
Maybe alex just assumed I told my ex i bought a house. Also, alex is just a made up name.
Anyways I’m here now to see what to do moving forward. 1. Confront my ex and tell him not to access my account anymore (if that’s how he found out). This way my ex can keep his job and I can continue with life knowing i didn’t ruin someone’s career. People finding out i bought a house isn’t too big of a deal.

Go to his manager or whoever can access activity logs and see how many times my account was accessed by my ex, if it’s just this once i’ll probably let it slide.
