I’ve been renting out my condo unit to a family for the past 5 years, last year he and his girlfriend started paying late which they eventually caught up on after using a local rent bank. This year they stopped paying around May and ignored my calls since then. They won’t even answer the door to give them the eviction notice. I have the LTB hearing date coming up soon.

In the last week I’ve been told by neighbors that the tenants are throwing things around and screaming for hours at each other. The police was also called there but not sure what came of it. Then last night I got a phone call from the condo board saying the tenants carved something into the door.

Is there something else I should be doing or just continue going along with the standard eviction and bring this up at the hearing?
