How much money do you spend a year on mistakes/screw ups?
Yesterday I locked myself out of my car and then hurriedly paid for a locksmith to help me return to work ASAP. I paid over $300 for the service
Last month, I got charged with an $70 parking ticket.
Earlier in the year I forgot to cancel a food delivery service, another ~$80 gone. Admittedly, it was pretty handy when the food came in cause I had to isolate during this time. Plus it was pretty tasty.
And a few months ago I lost ~$50 of receipts that I meant to expense for work.
So, I spent around $500 this year and it went to… really, nothing. Lessons learned, I guess?
I suppose I’m just looking for other people to share their stories, cause typically I find that people don’t mention these types of expenses unless they’re really huge!
