House heat was broken for 2 weeks during -40c cold snap. Used multiple heaters to survive. Who pays the the 1000$ electric bill? Landlord wants no part in it
Heat was broken for about 2 weeks and a half and it took that long cause a part needed replacement that took long to ship. Home was unliveable but survived with like 5 heaters and a fireplace and even this didn't really help.. I just feel like it's somewhat the landlord responsibility. But maybe I'm wrong.

Edit: this is regarding the electric bill from the multiple heaters and gas fireplace. With a $600ish increase from the normal
